I moved this blog to http://timberry.bplans.com. Please, please click the link to join me there. I really don't want to lose you. The new blog address is faster than the previous, and I like the new format too. I hope you do also.

- If you've been subscribed to this blog as blog.timberry.com, the move should have been automatic. That would have meant, however, that you wouldn't have seen this page at all, so something's wrong. Please try clicking that link to jump to the new address.
- However, if you've been subscribed using the older typepad address -- timberry.typepad.com -- then I ask you, please, to jump over to the new address and subscribe there. I really don't want to lose you.
- And then I'm also worried about the actual feed address. Presumably feedburner takes care of that for me ... but I notice that my Google reader needed an adjustment. What used to be blog.timberry.com/atom.xml or something like that is now timberry.bplans.com/feed/ ... so I hope that goes well for all.
Moving the blog wasn't an easy decision. If you're curious, I don't mind sharing the reasons.
The main reason is loyalty to bplans.com, a site I founded back in 1995. I founded that site, I wrote most of its early content, and I am still its major contributor ... although it's now managed by a professional team. It's still the best business plan site on the web, bar none. And that's despite the fact that it's been there now for 14 years, a target for imitators.
The main block to it was the idea of not fixing what isn't broken. I've been posting at this typepad blog address since I started blogging in 2006. Typepad has served me well, and I hated to lose the platform. So much so that I'm keeping my account open.
